Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: your email address, and a securely hashed password if you sign up with email/password (we never store your plaintext password). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google.
• Brand data you provide: your brand name, website URL, industry, and the competitor names you enter.
• Tracked prompts and results: the search prompts you choose to track, the raw responses returned by each AI engine, and the mention/sentiment/position data we extract from them.
• Billing data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by PayPal. We do not receive or store your card number — only a PayPal order/subscription ID and your plan status.
• Basic usage data: standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, request paths) for security and debugging.

How we use it

We use this data to: operate the tracking and dashboard features you sign up for; send the weekly email digest (if enabled); enforce plan limits; process payments; and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third parties we share data with

To provide the service, tracked prompts are sent to the AI providers you've enabled tracking for (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and/or Perplexity). Billing is handled by PayPal. Email delivery is handled by Resend. Our application and database are hosted by Hostinger. Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your account and tracking data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us — see below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us using the details below to exercise any of these rights.

Children's privacy

AI Rank Watch is a B2B product not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top of this page if this policy changes materially. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the update.
